My (free) PT has sent me on a thirty days’ journey to splits. I’m currently on day 10.
Although I do this as the last thing before bed, and it’s a chore, I have managed to keep it going for ten days running. 60 sec per position (60 per side if the number is two-sided).
I’m more flexible, and my left achilles tendon isn’t quite as snappy as it was before. Stretching my gastrocnemiuses (gastrocnemii?) has done me a lot of good. With my track record I will be very surprised if I’ll be able to do splits in a month, though.
