End of a year

December proved to be busier than anticipated, and blogging harder than I thought.

So, this is what I’ve been up to lately:

December 21st – Getting a Christmas tree:

This was a nice one, and no snow in sight.

December 23rd – Putting wreaths and candles on the graves:

This is actually a picture of my brother and a lamp post at the graveyard. It was too dark for getting a decent picture of anything else.

And then it was time to decorate the tree:

The glass baubles are replaced with plastic ones, and tinsel is banned due to one specific black cat. Surprisingly, only one bauble has hit the ground, and the tree is still standing tall.

December 25th – watching The Christmas Lunch Incident:

This has become quite a family tradition, actually.

December 27th – Snow

Yeah, it came, stayed for a couple of days, and…

December 30th – The grass is green

Or, as green as December allows.

Tomorrow is the final day of 2015, and I’m looking forward to spending it in the company of the best of friends, a good meal and in comfortable sweatpants and an ugly sweater!

Happy new year!
