I thought I taw a cardinal!!

I must have been dreaming. Or something…

I was at work, as usual. Maybe a bit on the tired side, but still.
Driving in my car, shepherding a much larger lorry transporting a rusher, and generally minding my own business, I am suddenly aware of a man driving towards me.

I would swear it was a cardinal! Or I would if I knew of a cardinal in my country. But I don’t. Not that I would know much about cardinals, but traditionally they do not make cardinals where I come from.

He was dressed in black robes topped with a red kippah (Wikipedia tells me it’s called cassock and zucchetto), and was just driving along like everybody else.

It must have been a figment of my imagination, just like when I constantly for the past two days have jumped at the sight of the dead spider under the door to the shower. At least that went down the drain today, and will never haunt me again.
