New shoes – new thoughts

Got rid of one pair of shoes.

Bought another one.

One nills out the other.

Fine.

But why is it so damned hard to break in a new pair of Converses?
The Kawasakis fits perfectly from day one, and thus I bought my first pair ever.
And they’re cheaper.

Why do I feel so torn, then?

I’ve still got two pairs of half-in-broken (woah – is that a word??) Converses at home.
I’ve just never got enough energy to wear them enough.

Maybe it’s time to pack them away?
Say goodbye to that particular part of my life?

Never thought that shoes meant so much!
